Project Social climate Broekhin
Based on social constructionist thought the school is building step by step a safe and stimulating, positive school climate for all. Appreciative collaboration and dialogue lead to connection and to the building of a school community where all can flourish and be treated in respectful ways.
Co-creation is the key approach. Together with students, parents and teachers we bring meaning to the concept of safety within the school. We co-construct meaning around values such as safety, respect and responsibility.
The approach is strengthened by implementing school-wide programs such as The Peaceful School (active citizenship). SW-PBS (School wide Positive Behaviour Support) and, Personal Well-being lessons for Secondary Schools (Positive Psychology).
